The classes are carried out according to the educational plans and fully correspond to the state requirements for a state higher school. Classes take place in perfectly equipped halls and laboratories.
The abilities authority and place of the College in the educational system of Bulgaria was highly praised with the document for accreditation by the National agency of Accreditation. The College was given a high mark and given maximum term according to the law of higher education.

The graduates of the College of Telecommunications and Post fulfil themselves successfully in the field of the studied specialties in our country as well as in other countries. They can continue their education for getting the next qualification grade of the higher education in Bulgaria. If they have good marks and speak foreign languages they can continue studying in universities - partners of the College in Germany, France, Spain, Hungary, Slovakia and Russia.

The year 2003 marks 80 years of opening of the State Telegraph and Postal School in Sofia and 55 years since its transformation in a semi-high State Telegraph and Postal Institute. On the 30th November 1922 the 19th Ordinary national Committee accepted the Law of opening of the Telegraph, Postal and Railway School, certified with Decree №60 / 1923 Tsar Boris III-rd.
On the 18th February 1948, the Sixth Great Parliament accepted the Law of the State Telegraph Institute with the status of a semi-high specialized institute with a course of education with a duration of 3 academic years.
In 1954, the name is changed to the Institute of Communications and that is the name by which it is popular amongst the Bulgarian society.
The 38th Parliament with decision from 17th July 1997 (State Paper №59 from 25th July 1997) transformed the Institute of Communications and Posts (CTP). The College is an independent state higher school that gives professional qualification and carries out the preparation of the students to the educational and qualifications degree "specialists in...". This is the shortest in duration and economically acceptable higher education.
